Biography
I am Zikang Yuan (袁子康), a postdoctoral fellow in AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems (ACCESS), HongKong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I am dedicated to research in embodied intelligence and robotics. Currently, I am focusing on two key subfields: multi-sensor fusion SLAM and autonomous exploration for mobile robots.
I have a proven track record of producing high-quality research that is the first author of 11 papers in top-tier robotics and AI field, including 2×RA-L, 1×TPAMI journal, 3×IROS, 1×ICRA conference paper. My first-author work, SR-LIO, won championship in the 2023 National SLAM Challenge. I actively contribute to open-source communities, with 2,000+ GitHub stars and 480+ followers.
I am currently seeking motivated graduate students interested in SLAM and autonomous exploration to join my research team.
